The identity for Lễ hội Tận hưởng Đà Nẵng 2026 — Enjoy Danang Festival — the city's flagship summer event, and the first large-scale test of the Chạm về Nguyên bản theme in the street. Built in motion first, printed second.

Five days, four sites, one quiet idea.
Lễ hội Tận hưởng Đà Nẵng 2026 ran 22–26 July across Dong Hai Park, My Khe Beach, Man Thai fishing beach and Linh Ung Pagoda — a Quang regional food quarter, roughly 500 illuminated kites, a first-ever charcoal banquet on the sand, EDM nights, sunrise yoga at 5am, barefoot running, SUP, and an e-sports final.
That is a very loud festival. It sat under a very quiet theme: Đà Nẵng — Chạm về Nguyên bản, the city's 2026 key theme, which is about craft, fishing villages and origin.
So the real brief was not “design a festival”. It was: make one identity carry a 5am meditation and a midnight EDM set without either feeling borrowed — and make it readable from a scooter, in July sun, at every size from a wristband to a building.
Three verbs, built as motion first.
The festival's own framework was already a rhythm: Cảm nhận – Tận hưởng – Khám phá — Feel, Enjoy, Discover. We took that literally and made it a beat rather than a tagline.
Most identities are drawn still and animated afterwards, which is why so much festival motion looks bolted on. We inverted the order: the logotype and type system were designed as animation first, and every static lockup is a frame pulled out of that motion. The letterforms lean where they lean because that is where the movement left them.
It also solved the tonal problem. A rhythm can be slow at sunrise and fast at midnight and still be the same rhythm — which is what let one system hold meditation and EDM without either looking out of place.
What we rejected: a festival mascot. It tests well in a meeting and dies on a banner at 40km/h.
One rhythm, three key visuals.
A single motion rhythm applied across three key visuals, so the festival reads as one thing from the airport road to the alley behind the fish market. Colour carries the heat of a Da Nang July; the structure keeps it disciplined.
Each key visual exists as a loop and as a set of still frames, cut for every ratio the city actually uses — vertical feather banner on the beach, horizontal fence wrap, the panorama that runs along a barrier, square for social.

The part people take home.
A five-day festival is remembered through what is still in a bag afterwards. The object set was specified alongside the identity rather than after it, so the crop of the mark works on a curved bottle and a flat sticker without being redrawn.
Accreditation and wristbands had to work as access control across four sites, which is a production constraint before it is a design one. Everything here was produced through our print and craft network in Vietnam and approved as a physical sample before anything was signed off on screen.
