KIRA
ignites.

One idea. Eleven touchpoints.

An Australian AI that builds your CRM, pipeline, and operating system from a few sentences of plain English. Nearly every AI brand in the category is electric blue. We made this one burn: Consulting (Positioning · Naming), Branding (Identity system), Graphic Design (Key visuals · Print · OOH), and Digital (Product screens · Motion). This is the whole of it.

The challenge

[01 / CHALLENGE]

Kira does something small businesses have paid consultants six months and five figures to do: you describe your company in a few prompts, and it builds the system — CRM, pipeline, invoicing, the lot — while you watch. The product is startling. The category it launches into is not: Australian tech is wall-to-wall electric blue and violet gradients, every AI brand dressed as the same cold intelligence. And the buyer is not a developer. It is a founder, a tradie with three staff, a clinic manager — people who have been burned by software that promised everything and needed a manual.

So the brief was a contradiction: look like the most advanced thing in the room, and feel like the warmest. Machine capability, human temperature. And do it credibly enough to stand next to venture-backed brands in the Australian startup market — on their stage, against their budgets.

The strategy

[02 / STRATEGY]
[02a / THE HEAT]

The category is blue. Blue reads cold, and cold is the one thing this product is not.

Kira’s entire value is warmth: it takes the most intimidating part of running a company and makes it conversational. So the identity refuses the category’s colour outright. Black for authority. Fire for the rest — amber into rust into burgundy, the palette of a forge, not a server room. In a feed of cool gradients, Kira is the one thing that looks alive.

[02b / THE NAME]

The name was on the table before we touched a letterform: kira-kira — Japanese for glittering, sparkling. Two syllables, reads as a person, types in one second, and carries the whole idea: a spark that starts something. The voice follows the name. Kira never announces features. It asks the question a good operations manager would ask on day one:

“Where should we start today?”

[02c / THE LINE]

Three words carry the product’s entire pitch, in the order the user experiences it: Imagine. Prompt. Create. You think it, you say it, it exists. Underneath them, one positioning line we would defend in any room: the system that builds your systems.

Design system

[03 / DESIGN SYSTEM]

The K is not typography. It is six points of light and the bonds between them — a molecule, a neural graph, a constellation resolving into a letter. It animates the way the product works: nodes first, connections second, meaning last. The wordmark is drawn, not typed — rounded terminals on every stroke, so even at billboard scale it keeps the temperature of something living. Both render in gradient light on black, and both survive one-colour, one centimetre wide, on an invoice footer.

The system, in the world

[03b / APPLICATIONS]

An AI brand earns nothing on a screen it already owns. So we shipped Kira into rooms where software brands never go — airport light, lanyard plastic, paper stock — and let the fire read at every scale. Eleven touchpoints, one temperature.

Product surfaces

[03c / DIGITAL]

On the product itself the system holds its nerve: black screens, light used the way the brand uses language — sparingly, and only where something is about to happen. The web landing opens with the promise, not the features. The app icon is the K alone: by the time it reaches a home screen, the molecule is the brand.

The product, in motion

[03d / PRODUCT FILMS]

An identity for software is tested on the software. So the last part of the programme was the product itself: ten screens — the dashboard, the assistant, the pipeline, a command palette, an inbox that sorts itself by priority — drawn to the same rules as the mark and animated in the two temperatures the system allows. These are design films, not recordings of shipped code: they show the interface as we specified it, so the engineering team builds to a standard rather than a mood board.

Ten films are slower to make than ten static screens, and they cost more. They are also the most honest way we know to show software. An interface is what it does when someone touches it, so every film below carries a handle — drag it, and the same screen moves between daylight and ember.

On the phone, the brief comes first.

The screen follows Apple’s own conventions — large title, native spacing, a swipe to complete — because a founder should not have to learn a second set of habits to read a morning brief. The brand is carried by the mark, the numerals and the colour, and by nothing else. The K sits where the thumb lands.

Everything on this page up to the product films is the shipped identity photographed in situ — screens, print, out-of-home and wearable running one system without an exception made for any of them. The product films are design intent and are labelled as such: the interface as specified, not the software as built. The motion poster was built to hold on an LED wall the same way it holds on a phone.

Kira launches to market with this identity; commercial figures from launch belong to the client. Where we cannot show a number yet, we show the work — and we measure at 90 days, like every programme we run.
