Who we are & our standard
[01 / PRINCIPLES]The Decor Hub operates as a multidisciplinary creative studio between Sydney, Australia and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. While Australian privacy legislation recognises small-business exemptions, we choose to structure our data practices in alignment with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and international best practices.
Our core policy is simple: No surveillance. No data brokering. No advertising trackers. We treat client information with the same discretion we bring to high-stakes strategic brand engagements.
Information we collect
[02 / COLLECTION]We only collect personal information that you voluntarily choose to provide when inquiring about our creative services. This includes:
- Identity & Contact: Your name, email address, phone number (if provided), and company name.
- Project Parameters: Current website URL, requested disciplines (Strategy, Branding, Graphic Design, Digital, Space & Product), budget tier, target timeline, and project brief.
- Commercial Communications: When you submit an enquiry, you consent to receive occasional studio notes and case updates (a few a year, never a newsletter). Every note includes an immediate one-click unsubscribe link.
We do not collect sensitive information (such as racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, or health/biometric data).
Zero trackers & local storage
[03 / STORAGE]This website runs zero tracking cookies, zero advertising pixels (no Meta Pixel, no Google Tag Manager, no LinkedIn Insight), and zero behavioural telemetry. The site stores only functional, first-party preferences on your own device:

Data flows & third-party processing
[04 / PROCESSORS]To securely operate our global studio infrastructure, minimal project data flows through verified, industry-standard service providers:
- Edge Hosting & Storage (Cloudflare): Hosted on Cloudflare Pages and Cloudflare Workers with edge locations in Australia and globally. Enquiries are encrypted in transit and stored securely in Cloudflare D1. Standard server logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URI) are maintained strictly for network security and DDoS mitigation.
- Email Delivery (Resend): Enquiry notifications to our studio and confirmation receipts to you are dispatched through Resend with RFC 8058 one-click unsubscribe headers.
- Client Payments (PayPal): If you settle invoices or retainers via our payment portal (pay.html), payment data is processed directly by PayPal under PCI-DSS Level 1 compliance. The Decor Hub never receives, stores, or handles credit card numbers.
Spam Act 2003 compliance
[05 / SPAM ACT]In accordance with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth), we guarantee:
- Clear Identity: Every commercial message clearly identifies The Decor Hub as the sender with registered contact details and phone number.
- Functional Unsubscribe: Every communication provides a direct, zero-friction unsubscribe link. Opt-out requests are processed immediately and honoured within 5 business days.
- No Account Required: You will never be asked to log in or create an account to stop communications.
Data retention & your rights
[06 / RIGHTS]We retain enquiry details only as long as necessary to fulfill project requirements, provide ongoing brand stewardship, or satisfy legal accounting obligations.
Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to request access to any personal information we hold about you, request corrections, or request complete deletion of your records.
